So, I've been reading alot, posting very little, and joining the chat room semi-regularly for a week or two, and I thought it was time to share some of my thoughts with the forum. Here goes:

Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino Sungrown Belicoso: Very well made, some oil on the wrapper, with a medium pre-light draw. The draw stayed consistant through-out the smoke (about 50 minutes). My wife said it smelled very nice, and taste was pleasant, starting with some coffee, and staying almost...I don't know the word to describe... cedar I think, stayed constant from heel to knub. This stick had a nice even burn, and did't need any help or adjustments. I enjoyed the short smoke very much.

Juan Lopez Robusto: I usually like the larger sizes of this smoke, but my local shop was sold out, so the robusto I chose. A very dark wrapper, and a nice pre-light smell. It lit easily, and had a fre-flowing draw all the way through. I did have some uneven burn, and I had to adjust, twice I think, due to some tunneling. The taste was great, with chocolate being dominant, with a nutty flavor towards the finish comming on strong. This was a nice, full bodied cigar. Burn time was around 75 minutes.

I did have a coke or two with each smoke, and will buy both again.

Nice reviews. Both cigars are in that medium price range from which many favorite smokes seem to arise. :) Keep'em coming.
