Well I smoked a Torano exodus for the ash standing contest tonight, and it was terrible! It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I had to clean the palate with something nice. I searched through the cooler for a nice stick and came across a RASS given to me in the Newbie Sampler Thread.
This was my first RASS and only my 4-5 ISOM so I was very excited by the smell and pre-light draw on this bad boy. I thought surely this baby would do the trick and let me tell you...IT DID.
It started off really spicy, but after the first inch this stick really mellowed out and was very well balanced. It was spicy the whole way down, but it was blended nicely and very enjoyable. The smoke billowed from my mouth, the draw couldn't have been better, and the burn was like a razor the whole way. I smoked this one down to the nub in about 45 min. Great smoke!
I had the credit card out to get a box, but after seeing they are 9 bucks a stick or so I decided I better hold off until I start my job next week! You can be assured that I will have a box of these soon resting in my cooler. Thanks to Craig for allowing me to try my first RASS.
