Chateau Fuente Sungrown.
Anyways the Davidoff was a 2000 in tubo. Smelled great, and when I lit up I was very pleasantly surprised by the sweet and pleasant flavor. Davidoff was described to me as mild by the last person with whom I spoke, so I wasn't expecting much. Thing is I guess I am still figuring out the difference between "bland," "mild," and "pretty much like sucking air."
I'm starting to get it; for example I smoked a Chiselito a couple of weeks ago and found it very bland, like smaoking cardboard. However I doubt it could also be classified as mild, since it is double ligero.
Anyway this Davidoff was very flavorful and pleasant to me. Construction was great and burn was too. Thumbs up. May be looking into some Private Stock purchases soon.
Also, I saw an assortment consisting of 4 Double Rs and a Millenium #1 in tubo at a smokeshop the weekend. Now I can't find even a reference to it anywhere, not even on Davidoff's Madison Ave site. Anyone know about this?
I smoked the CFSG while I watched the Fuente DVD set. IT was great to smoke a fuente while watching a dcumentary about them. This cigar, without a doubt, is fantastic. You know how when cigars go out they get that nasty, stale taste to them? Even sucking on the nub that had gone out tasted good! Double thumbs up.
