If anyone is interested, I just received some My Father Limited Edition 2011. These are packed in boxes of 12 (no coffins) and they are $20 a stick. I've already reached out to those that asked me to reserve a box for them, so this will be first come, first served. I just don't have too many left. Please call or PM me. Thanks.

Hey Isy,

Is there any word on how these compare to the 2010s? Those were a great smoke IMHO.

Thanks!

I had one over the weekend....these are really complex, rich, worthwhile smokes.....

Earthy, dark, full flavors....really nice. A little pricey, sure, but something well worth a splurge, IMHO.

I just got them in, so I haven't had the pleasure of smoking one. However, while the blend is somewhat similar to last year's, it has changed a bit (according to some bloggers I speak to). There's more Pelo de Oro tobacco in this blend and from what I hear, very well balanced.

I think you've splurged enough today buddy!

The coffin was nice...price point not so much.
The 2011 cost significantly more than the 2010 did.

How many boxes are they making this time?

42,000 sticks, as opposed to 24,000 in last year's release. Also, it's the exact same price as last year's. Similar, but a different blend and wrapper.

No Sir....those were the 2010s. These are brand new. I don't even think most places got them in yet.
Thanks for the correction, Israel - !!....

Isy...is there a different blend/size each year?

Same size, Gary. Difference this year is more Pelo de Oro in the blend, and a Habano Criollo wrapper grown in Equador.
