So, are all my father Le Bijou 1922 corona gorda cigars the same blend? I have read that they were made available to 4 different retailers and was wondering if anyone has smoked from the various sources to see if there is any difference?

Thanks

C

The only one's I've ever had were the ones that were sent to Al (PuffStuff).  They are slightly different than the regular blend, but honestly I have no idea if the individual retailers got different blends.

My guess is they are probably all the same, but I could be wrong; those guys at Pepin really crank them out.... ;)

My guess would be that they are rolled by several rollers with different tobaccos and are boxed after coming down a chute, opposed to one roller with one batch of tobacco rolling the entire box.

I have a box of the Puff n Stuff MFLB's, and I've smoked several of the "regular" blend.  I've found that the ones from Al have a much more pronounced raspberry note to them, whereas the regular commercial blend (is that the right term?) has the raspberry, but it is definitely not as prominent.  Just something I've noticed.  Perhaps it is because my cigars are contained inside their box while the others I have bought have sat out in the trays of my fridgidor as singles.  I don't know, but can't count this possibility out as to the strength of the nuances.

*EDIT* Minor grammar mistakes

i've found the cg size of the lb to be much better than most any other stick in the lb line.  i recently went through a couple of boxes from a shop in new hampshire that carries them.  they are my "crack stick"
