Pre-light aroma an appearance wrapper is a beautiful reddish-brown, nice triplecap. Nice appearance and construction is solid.
Cold draw has sweet tobacco, wood and leather.
First puffs black pepper spice,sweet cedar wooden aroma in smoke.
First third
Woody flavor, leathery flavor,cedar aroma and smoke slight cedar sweetness black pepper spice faint. Flavors continue mostly woody, some bitterness like black tea, cedar sweetness faint in background,present in aroma.
Flavors similar to a fresh romeo y julieta short churchill. End of first third has some faint cherry like notes. Very good smoke,medium in body and medium flavor. Very good volume of smoke.
2nd Third
Begins with cherry note,leather and wood,faint spice in background. Spice transitions from black pepper to a cinnamon like note. Great cedar aroma in smoke. Slight cocoa like flavor joins the mix in background. Ash is solid and light gray in color with black stripes. Midway through second third flavors of cinnamon and cherry like note dominate. The graham cracker like sweetness that romeo y julitas have makes an appearance. Flavors stay the same, but cocoa gone. Made only a brief appearance through 2nd third. Flavor is that of a good Nicaraguan smoke similar but different to a Habano.
Smoke is still medium body medium flavored.
Final 3rd
Flavor returns to mostly woody, cedar and leather. Finish is long and Woody. Final part finishes with light body medium flavor cedar dominates with slight graham cracker and Cedar sweetness Cherry acid note still very much present and coats the pallet. Leaves lips tingling with goodness.
Overall four out of five.
