Morning Smokes

Just wondering what other's like. I started this morning with a cup of coffee and a R&J Belicoso(Cuban of course :) ). It was good, but took a bit too long to smoke. I have tried my monte#5's but they pack just a bit too much punch at 8 in the morning. I even tried my Rocky Patel Conn. but ran out and I am not that impressed. I need to buy a box or two.

Your favorites?
 
One of my favorite smokes for breakfast is the San Cristobal El Principe... nothing seems to have a better ring to me than El Principe and omelette. The Party Short is a favorite as well, but I don't typically touch the Short until after 12 (noon that is). Minuto size smokes I've had are really becoming favorites because they've got good flavour without spending and hour and a half to get through.
 
To date, my all time fave AM smoke is the LaLuna SeriesR colada. It's a smaller vitola, about 4 X 40 but the ones I have are about six+ months to the good, humi wise, and are smoking very well. The Partagas Short is another "go to" AM smoke. Some guys find these to be real "ass kickers" but I really like them both with a cup of good, fresh ground black coffee in the AM. I had the HdM DeDepute's suggested to me so I'm going to try a few and see what I can see about them, as well.

My new favorite may be the ERDM PC. Smooth and light but very tasty. I also enjoy the Siglo II, Diplo #4, Qdo Coronas and if you're in the mood for something bigger it's hard to beat a Punch Churchill or HdM DC.
 
I like short smokes in the morning with coffee, normally Punch Bolo is my morning smoke. Partagas Shorts are my favorite short smoke however I generally don't smoke one to early in the morning. If I have time in the morning Casa Torano's are also enjoyable.
 
I like Punch Rothschilds. Nice short smoke. I've been reading alot about those Partagus Shorts. I'm going to have to try one sometime.
 
On the weekends, I love to start the day with coffee and a RASS. Nothing better in my book.
 
On the dock in the morning Duglynukem and I will smoke a Short Story with coffee and a Bloody Mary
 
Drinking a fresh cup of Honduran and or Costa Rican coffee. The beans I picked up while visiting Central America so its a nice cup. Then pulling out one of 2 sticks that are just nice ole go to cigars...RyJ Coronitas en Cedro or HdM Coronation. Nothing fancy...But when I want a really nice smoke in the morning I look for a RASS or a BBF.

Got me pegged right here, also the special event sticks that La Aurora brings around with them are great with coffee. Need to get some but I bet Boli PC would be great for a go to breakfast smoke.

And I still cant stand the plays he wrote. Well, I can. But the extra stuff he put in them is Unnatural. :laugh:
 
I'll add to the vote for San Cristobal's. I just spent the last two weeks having a San Cristobal with my coffee in the morning, and I think the flavor is perfect for it.

Davidoff Anniversary Tubo # 3

Diamond Crown 2 and 6

Ashton Cabinet # 8

Don Carlos 3 or robusto

Ashton Aged Maduro # 20

I enjoy a non cuban as my fisrt of the day and then smoke Cubans the rest of the day and night.
 
I like a Bolivar Petit Corona with a cup of coffee, although I am down to my last one :(
