I've been around a few sports and fishing boards, and most of them have a better selection of emoticons to select from. I'm guessing the limited emoticons that's available is by design, but i'm thinking w/ a better selection, your true meaning of a post will be clearer, as sometimes w/ the typed word things can be mis-construed.

Just a thought (i don't have many of those)

I understand that the written language is a little strange to you Frank, and that pictures work better for you. Trust me, if you can't convey in words what you are trying to say, then pictures sure as hell won't work.

(couldn't resist, Tim!)

Ya gotta be original and find your own, like this:

We have enough for most occasions and when you need something special you can always link to one.

Is that a Jag Bill?

Well, i reckon me being down here in the deep South and being aN illiterate dirt farmer means i ain't too bright, and that's true, we usually draw pictures in the dirt to communicate, hence the need for more emoticons. You being a Yankee i knows yous much more smarter, especially with numbers, so tell me the meaning of these numbers - 33-3 :p

I took others advice and came up w/ my own 'emoticon', just for you Timmy

 I don't care who you are, that's funny right there!

Seriously though, Frank asked what he felt was a serious question. Even though I don't agree with the need for more emoticons myself. I did not really see the need to reply in such a sarcastic and belittling manner.

And yes, I don't think two wrongs make a right either.

I took his post as tongue in cheek humor, and my reply was meant in the same vein.

Well if that's the case, then I am sorry for my response. I thought it was true disdain.

I hope that's the way he meant it, but we had more emoticons, and people used them, then we would have a better idea his true meaning :p . I may not be real bright, although i have learned to count $, but it seems to me the true meaning of the typed word can sometimes be mis-construed.

I think John is the only one hear that has taken this seriously. I have learned to take Frank with a single grain of salt.

I think we should scrap the emoticons all together and just use acronyms...

I Mean Why Should We Waist Time On Emoticons When All We Have To Do Is Use The First Letter Of Every Word To Spell Out What We Are Saying And Get Our Point Across That Way. :p

Dear Mr. Master of the Written Word:
I believe the proper spelling in this application is here.

Your Pal,
Illiterate Heathen Redneck
