Montecruz Negra Cubana, Cuban Corona
Vitola: Coronas Gordas (5 5/8 x 46) ~ Parejo
Reasonable smooth wrapper with a slightly shiny and somewhat oily surface.
Passed the first part now and though it burns a little uneven, the draw is quite easy with a largely sufficient amount of smoke.
The taste starts of quite full flavoured with sweet-earthy impressions, combined with bitter-nutty nuances and a touch of cocoa.
when entering the midcourse, the taste becomes more full-bodied and somewhat tangy (but still in a nice way) with sweet-spicy and sourish-aromatic nuances in the long aftertaste.
The scent contains rich earthy, woody and leathery notes, rounded with a touch of toast.
I had some trouble with the last part of this cigar, for the finale got somewhat harsh.
However, taking the price of this cigar in account (I saw it was sold for about $3 a peace), IMO it's not a bad smoke at all.
