Hello noob here. I smoke a montecristo media noche tonight and here is my review. First off it was a churchill 7x58. The wrapper was a connecticut broadleaf very dark & oily. The fillers are from peru, nicaragua & dominican republic. The construction was rather firm but good overall, wrapper was oily looking with a nice triple cap. After cutting cap the draw was a little hard mainly because of length and tightness in the construction. It had a very nice rich taste upon lighting. Upon lighting it had a very rich creamy tabacoo flavor with very little peppery flavor. About halfway the rich flavor died down some & the peppery flavor picked up some, the burn was slow and even. At 3/4 it got rather hot and it tasted kind of leathery. It stayed the same the rest of the way and took about an 1 1/2 hrs. to smoke. It resembles an aston aged madruo. Overall its a very good cigar.

My first review hope you enjoy it :)

Nice review, the torpedo is one of my favorite cigars to smoke!

Nicely reviewed. The Dark Sumatra line remains one of my favorite, full-flavored inexpensive smokes. I always enjoy the deep espresso-cocoa flavors.
