Vitals
Make: Monte
Model: #4
Size: PC 5x42
Origin: Cuba
Drink: Single Malt Scotch
Time: 1 hour
This cigar is one that i acquired very recently. It has been sitting for only a few days and i could not resist myself. I was very fortunate to find such a deal on a great on a box of these and could not wait to explore the realm of monte habanos.
The scotch played a very integral role in the cigar, it brought out flavors that were rich and toneful beyond belief.
The cigar started toasty and mellow.
It worked it's way to a very sweet and mellow woodsy flavor that was so rich on the tongue. it was delivered by a tighter (than usual) draw but remained to be very enjoyable throughout the entire experience.
I am the type of guy who likes a giant drwa but comes to realize the actuality of a cuban RG. The cigar just wouldnt quit.
The draw loosened up and really let the toasty woodsy flavor shine about halfway through the experience.
The cigar did not exhibit a ton of dimension but it was consistent with hints of change. it did not stray from its original "beat but was enjoyable none-the-less.
I resorted to Rico's nub tool and i noticed a very sweet flavor that carried through the end of the cigar.
here's a nice swanky pic....
The cigar was very enjoyable. i would like to let them rest a little more and dry out a bit. the flavor was intense (multiplied by the scotch) and was enjoyable from start to finish although the cigar was 1.5 dimensional.
I really enjoyed it, i am being consumed by the dark side.
Thanks
- Bobby
