Well, went to the AF Montesino event at our local shop... upon walking in the door I was handed a Montesino Belicoso NO. 2 sungrown and lit up. Not a bad cigar... rather light for my taste, but smooth smoking and not unenjoyable. It started as a mild and worked to a lighter medium before it ended. A rather decent, somewhat inexpensive (roughly $6 each?) easy smoking cigar I would say. Then in the raffle I won a Napoleon Grande in maduro, which I also lit up. It was better than the #2 as it was a better taste for my liking. The #2 was a little light on the volume of smoke, whereas the Napoleon was a more volumous smoke, and was more of a heavier light body (or a light medium!) smoke.. still a little light for my taste, but overall one I could deal with! ;)

Also handed to me was a Cubanitos which was probably my favorite smoke of the evening... I am adding this to the purchase list as it was a great smoke for those times when you don't have alot of time.

Also of note PetersCreek and I met up and chatted for awhile. We're going to hook up and have our own mini-herf so if anyone is in town you're invited! Sadly, TuxIndy was absent due to the fact he was reminded today was his Anniversary! Oops...

Yes, the Cubanito is my favorite small cigar, just right for the ride home.
10 year old cameroon wrappers on those babies! YUUUUUMMMMMEEEEE

The Montesino SG is a great morning smoke w/ a cup of Killer Beans!

Sounds like a great time Swissy. Glad you got guys got to make it.
Still kind of cringing at the "reminded of his anniversary" bit though. Ouch.

Montasino's are a great change of pace smoke. I always keep a few handy for trips.
