Mold issue

I just bought a 10ct box from a local shop and when i was getting them out to smoke I noticed some of them look a bit odd. I am hoping this is just my imagination or some bloom but i fear the worst.

Guess Im really showing Newbie status on this one, eh?

For some reason you just have to copy that link and paste it into your browser. Thats the only place I could think of to host my images. Ill work on that before posting images again. But still what do you guys think of these images?

Tell you what James. You bring that suspect box to the Downtown Grille tonight at around 5 or 6. mrjinglesusa and I will inspect the cigars and smoke a couple of them for you to make sure they are OK. That way, you are assured to have proper smokes. :p
 
For image hosting, I've always used Photobucket.

Great (free) image hosting source. Has never let me down before. The only time it has never not shown was at my school. They had Bess block almost everything that was even remotely offensive.

Id love to get down there to smoke with you guys and I would definately be happy to let you guys smoke anything decent I have, unfortunately Ive got class every wednesday and thursday night until august 3 (I think). If the offer is still open at that time I would definately be interested.

I don't see a thing wrong with them.

Nathan...on the one that didn't work, it's cos the board software shortened the URL. IF you right click, select properties, and copy the URL from that box it will show up.

Lots of site prohibit linking to their pics. I think it has to do with figuring out what the referring page is.

Thanks, Lumberg. I finally saw the picks. Nope, I don't see anything wrong with those cigars. Without personal inspection, I would say a little bloom/plume. LGCs are usually good agers. On the otherhand, it could just be the toothiness of the wrapper. Can't tell for sure from the pics.
 
Yup, definitely Aspergillus Ochraceus. Very lethal and difficult to dispose of. I have a specialized decontamination chamber for this very reason. Your cigars will be incinerated in the process but it's for your own good. Ship them off to the address listed in my profile right away, for you safety of course.

Well guys I guess this goes down as a crisis averted. Thanks to everyone for putting their knowledge to work on the case. Ive smoked one of them and It tasted great. I guess I just got a good deal on some LGCs with a little age on them. Hopefully they continue to age as well because so far these are better than some serie R Ive enjoyed from LGC.
