We just completed a huge remodel (Members room, walk in Humidor, etc), so if your in the area and want to check it out, come on by.

Our website is

http://www.missiontobaccolounge.com/

Come on by- it should be a blast. Its our first event since the remodel.

For those who have never been there yet, this place has tons of character. It's in the downtown part of riverside and this place looks set to explode. The owner is putting a barber shop and a masage room also. Bar, tables, plenty of room. The smoking area isn't huge, but everyone I met there is friendly and loves cigars.

After speeking with an employee far more involved in the Herf than Myself, i learned that the entire Mission Tobacco Lounge will be smoke friendly. I have the flyer right next to me. I will update the initial post to include this new information, but like i said before, the entire place will be smoking.

Is this the place that is next to Lake Alice? If so, you've caught my interest with the remodeling news. It's been a couple of years since I've been there, and to be honest (but no offense meant), I've always thought of the place as a dump and of having a very poor selection of cigars that were poorly maintained. I wish I could get a better view of the refurbished interior from the website, as I think the place has excellent potential with its location and beer/wine and entertainment accommodations.

I won't be able to make this event though. Good luck with it and all the best.

your absolutely right. A couple years ago, it was just a hole in the wall, and the humidor's were horrible. I am going to talk with the owner today about getting some new pictures up on the website, but since the current owner took over a year ago, the place has really changed.

Regarding:

Bad Humidification: Built a brand new walk in Humidor. El Humidor = Muy Grande

Selection (brands i like): Avo, Joya de Nic, Ashton, Monte, Fuente Hemingway, Gurka.

Bar: I'm sure you remember that tiny 2 seater in the dark back corner. No more. My guess would be it seats 15, and our boss has redone the drink list.

Beer: A lot
On Tap: Guinness, Bodingtons, Hefenwiezen, Stella, Bass
Wine: 12? different selections
Port: 4 selections. Going up to 40 year.

Come by some time when you get a chance. The place has really come a long way for 1 short year. the expansion probably doubled the square footage.

Very cool.. I haven't been down there in three four years. Was wondering if it was even still there..

Will have to head on down and check it out on my day off.
