I have been a member on this forum for a few months now and figured I'd bite the bullet and take some pictures of my setup at the lake. Recently, I also purchased a Nikon D60 that seems to make me take pictures of everything I see. I got some great ones this Fourth of July.

The first humidor I would like to introduce has been my baby from the start. She has had a little issues with keeping up with the humidity but after letting large shipments soak for a week or two, she hovers at a beautiful 70% with the humi-care jar.

I manly use this desktop for samplers that I order and try so as you can imagine the amount of samplers out there keep her filled to the brim.

Next up is the mackdaddy.

Holds up to 400 (factory measurement) and was won at a HERF in Bay City, MI. Very nice humidor hovers at about 73% to 76% (a little high for some tastes but haven't really noticed the downside yet). I keep cigars ranging from the high end to the low end that you had out to friends. We will start from low to high. :)

I also intended to start a diary of the smokes I have had but haven't really had the discipline; I really like just relaxing. :p

Hope to see you guys around, enjoy the post.

....bro, you VSG looks a little "hairy" and not in a good way. Watch those RH's....

B.B.S.

I just recently bought that VSG from my local shop... They don't even look hairy in real life. Think it could be mold?

Nice Humi and a very nice selection of smokes. Is it me or do some of your sticks seem to already be cut?

Looks that way on the cap. It just means you have to hurry up and smoke it. Send me those Aroma de Cubas too, they look a little suspect...

After looking at it again.. it just finally occured to me that you have the LGC Serie R Limitada 2007 box.. very nice indeed.

IIRC, wasn't there a review thread recently where someone's camera took a picture where the plume looked like a very thick spider-webbed mold? A high-quality camera like the D-60 might be picking up and highlighting the plume. It could also be a reflection from the flash.

ETA: Sboyajian, I love your movie!

Wish I could take credit for it. Was done by a good friend and great BOTL over at CO.

I think the Fusions and possibly Gurkha's might be reflection from the flash. The LGC drawers are very shiny compared to most cedar draws and they might be reflecting light back onto the caps.

Not sure about that VSG though.. that looks a little heavy.

That VSG has one of the newer bands on it, pretty unlikely it is plume, not to mention it is concentrated rather than uniform.

When you have alot of choice, it's sometimes hard to decide what to bring to a friends house. I tend to cut my cigars before I leave so I don't have to lug all tools around with me. :)

Hmm. Not sure then. The cigar has been handled a decent amount since it's purchase. I am pretty sure that the white is not hairy, it is a chalky consistency.

The white on the Fusions maybe a reflection of the vegetable paste used to apply the caps.
