Hi.. I just smoked a Camacho SLR and it was a little too strong for me.. Can you guys please recommend some nice milder cigars for me? Thanks.

I have a bunch of mild smokes sitting in my humidor. I need to make some room for some new smokes I got. Let me know if you'd like a great deal on a mild cigar sampler.

Lately I have also found La Aroma De Cuba (from Ashton) to be quite acceptable.

Ashton (white label) cigars are very nice cigars, definately mild, the Ashton Aged Maduros offer a little more kick and flavor but not much. Also the Green Banded Fuentes are great mild smokes, with the SGs providing a little more punch and flavor when you are ready for it.

Dont listen to this guy, he is just yanking your chain. Black n Mild is the only way to go. They even have mild in the name. Plus, they come with those classy plastic tips that you cant even find on most cigars costing many times their price!!!

I'd just like to know why so many people here bag on Macanudo...

I haven't had a Macanudo yet that I didn't like, and I normally like medium to full bodied cigars.

I had a pitch black Macanudo Maduro covered with bloom from our local smoke shop that was like tabacco viagra... thats how good it was.

But here I keep seeing peeps bagging on some of the IMHO best mild smokes on the market.

I just don't get it.

I couldn't agree more ... I've never had a Mac that I didn't enjoy. I actually find them to be more consistent then any other smoke out there.

I second this agreement, On the issue of consistency at least. Macanudos are consistently awful. Fresh Macs awful, after a year or two...awful, these are one of the few cigars that I can think of that over age within 5 years.
Just my humble opinion but I would bet a lot of people would agree.

CAO Golds are about the only mild cigar that i find pleasurable...or at least, with a pleasurable taste!

kinda like how miller lite and bud light are probably some of the highest selling beers in the US....compare that with almost any other micro-brewed beer and what do you realize? both of the most popular beers in the country suck!

kinda the same idea with the macanudos

:p

I would agree if they were priced at $1 per stick ... but when you consider they are priced in the $4-6 a stick range thats gotta tell you that people are buying them over a lot of other well regarded smokes.

Macs are not even close to being awful but different strokes for different folks.
