I'll be honest with you guys, I don't care if he had free opus and DCMs, the fact that he came on this board to stir the shit, and all he really does here is post sales, not contribute, just says it all.
 
I hoping I don't get lynched, BUT. I can't say I've had any bad dealings with them. Maarit has been kind and courteous to me every time we spoke on the phone. She even called me to give me a heads up on a certain stick I was looking for. Granted I don't agree w/ there prices on Fuente, but they have many other brands at very fair prices. We ALL shop at specific places for specific brands. JMHO...

Lee, I understand, but I don't know if it was "Maarit" or someone else, but they really did just start a flame war here, and also, I've asked about the spamming of CF members:

It was brought up MANY times, and they NEVER responded!

HapaLee is a good guy from what I know, so he really doesn't wish to start a fight, I understand where he's coming from, and if TW had never came after us personally, this would be different.
 
These guys claim to have cigars for sale when they do not. I bought some LFD Chisel maduros from these losers when they claimed to have them in stock. Turns out they did not. I waited a month for my cigars then when they finally shipped them to me, they were NOT maduros but naturals.

Never mind the fact that they are first class gougers, charging $20.00 for Añejo 48s which are an $8.00 cigar.

I hate these guys.......

Take a look at what this assclown has done around here, and how they gouge on premium cigars and then reconsider your statement. If you still stand behind this vendor then you've got issues...

OK, I understand a little better now. Let me say again, I DO NOT agree w/ there pricing on Fuente products. I wish they never posted they were "deals" as clearly they are not. BUT, they do have some good prices on some hard to find items. As for the attitude they have towards customer service, I will say again, they have been very friendly to me. I have checked the dates on prior posts where they have had a bad attitude. The only excuse i can even think of is the time of the year it happened. Most of you cannot appreciate what we Floridians were going through during hurricane season. The area they are located was hit harder than most. Power, and basic utilities were none existant for weeks. As a business owner, you have the added stress of your business to worry about in addition to your home, and families. If you called today, I'm sure you'd get a better reception. JMHO

You say the same things I've heard from other long time customers of TW. I've also heard she has good pricing on Padron cigars - especially the premiums. Fortunately for TW Cigars, it appears these sincere testimonials are fairly prevelant in the various cigar communities.

The fact remains, though, that Maarit has been rude to members here. Maybe her rudeness is related to personal circumstances. I don't think her reputation on this board is necessarily done - just seriously damaged. I'm sure a few here would really like to see Maarit clear up this mess with a sincere apology. And clearly, it would be in TW's best interest not to post any kind of Fuente special on this board unless her pricing falls in line with MSRP. It will draw criticism, no doubt - her current pricing is way out of line.

There are plenty of other vendors out there that have prices just as good, and they are not assholes. In fact, one of them is located in FL as well, in New Smyrna Beach, and I don't see him baiting our members and trying to prolong arguments instead of admitting that they failed.


And just so you know, my folks live in FL and were hit by every hurricane just the same as everyone else in FL, so I do know what Florida's been through.
