Thanks to you and Tim, I tasted my first Surly at the Outlaw Herf. Now, I am enjoying a nice cold pint of Furious! Haven't had a cigar since Saturday but had to have my Surly tonite! What a refreshing beer!

There's only one other IPA I've enjoyed as much as Furious and that was Nugget Nectar (thanks again Martin). Furious is a stand out beer. Glad you liked it Joe. Try some Surly Bender next!

Distribution is statewide Andy. You could probably get it at any decent liquor store. I just talked to a guy in the office who's been looking for Surly for months. Couldn't find it anywhere in the Twin Cities. He didn't know they were in cans. So he was always looking through the bottles. Dude should have just asked.

Apparently, they only deliver to the MN metros, limited WI and limited IL (which is more like limited Chicago). They're expanding, slowly but surely.

Just recently they surpassed MN's lame distribution limit for a 'small' brewery or whatever it is, but the result is that because of the quantity they are distributing they can no longer sell growlers or 750 ml bottles.

I don't understand any of these alcohol laws, and all they do is hurt 'small businesses'; and again, we have a Republican governor who has completely attacked tobacco and liquor in this state. Fng a..hole.
