Meet Litto Gomez at Bethesda Tobacco Wednesday Sept. 24th

My B&M is hosting Litto Gomez tomorrow, Wednesday Sept 24th, from 5-8:30pm. Litto will be here signing boxes along with refreshments and food. The store's address is 4914 St. Elmo Street, Bethesda MD. We are 3 blocks west of the Bethesda Metro station on the Red line. Last year was a huge blast and we expect nothing less from the man behind La Flor Dominicana! Hope to see some of you there!

World's First Litto Lounge!

Last night's event was awesome! Easily the best one we had this year, and fittingly so; Mike, the owner, began his career as a tobacconist by being one of the first visitors to Litto's farm back in 1995 (I think). He and Litto go back a ways. It also is likely the last event we will have at our current location. As of Jan 1st, we are planning to move 2 streets away onto Del-Ray. The new location will be built to suit us better, and in addition, it will have the world's first Litto Lounge! Litto and Mike made the announcement last night. The evening was very exciting and Litto was very gracious and friendly. He spoke with anyone and everyone. He is interested in cars and looked under the hoods of some of the guys’ cars, all the while talking cigars, life, politics, and geography and signing cigar box after cigar box. I have been working at Bethesda Tobacco for over a year and a half and it has to be one of my favorite events yet. I wish I had brought my camera to take photos but didn’t have time between the event and my regular work.
