Martinsburg/Winchester Herf

Shadow mentioned a restaurant in Winchester that is very cigar-friendly, the Bistecca d'Italia.

As far as I know, Winchester is where we are planning on having this.
Is 6pm good for you or should be bump it to 6:30 or 7pm?

Any of the Loudoun County boys planning on attending this one also?

I just called Bistecca D'Italia and the message said that their fall hours are Wednesday thru Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday). :0
I PMed Shadow to confirm this.

If this will not work the only other suggestion I have is to herf at a local cigar shop in Leesburg (Leesburg Cigar and Pipe).
Big100HD, if you have any other suggestions of somewhere in Leesburg that is cigar-friendly I am all ears...

Confirmed. They just switched over to their fall/winter schedule so they are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

OK guys it looks like it is time for plan B...
Why don't we meet at Leesburg Cigar & Pipe for a smoke.

I can find no place in Winchester or Charles Town that we can have a cigar and a drink.
Big100HD, are there any restaurants/bars/pool halls in Leesburg that allows the smoking of cigars?
It would be nice to have a malt beverage with the cigars.

Nothing wrong with going to Leesburg, But I'm trying to keep it in The Winchester area.

Easy to find, mapquest directions

Off 81 take Rt 7 exit, You will turn right regardless of which direction you are coming from. On 7W toward Winchester.

About a mile up you will take a left onto N Pleasant Valley Rd.

Take the 3rd left on E. Cork Street. Sweet Carolines is 10 Blocks up on Left.

If it's not one thing after another. Just called Sweet Carolines....They don't allow cigar smoking until 9:30 after the dinner crowd. Seems someone made a complaint.

So much for that idea. Not sure of any other place in Winchester.

Just got back from the mini-herf a little while ago. Although it wasn't as large as the DC herf at Shelly's it was good to meet up with Frank again and it was great to finally meet Carl (Junkman56). :thumbs:

I'll certainly give you guys a shout the next time I'm out this way for a visit. (Until then, feel free to bug the crap outta my brother.)
