Ooops!

Now was that really a surprise to anyone? If it was I have several bridges in NYC available for sale.

I'm to the point now where when I consider someone good and find out they are also clean, then I'm surprised. I hate to say it, but they are guilty until proven innocent.

I'm not surprised, but I'm certainly disappointed. I had always hoped that Ortiz was a hot dog and beer kind of guy. I just wish they'd release the entire list, instead of releasing a couple names every three weeks or so. I'm curious to see who was clean.

Doc.

I guess the way they are leaking those names makes it seem that they want to prolong this drama.

Unfortunately, most of the players have done steroids in the past or are still doing them now. None of this surprises me. Would the game be just too damn boring to watch any more if there were not as many home runs? I think we, the fans, are part of the blame. We want it exciting! I understand back in the day of Mantle, DiMagio, Williams, Ruth, Cobb, etc they didn't use steroids and it was pure talent, (or was it the booze?)

And, why are they even worried about the players that used steroids in the "pre-banned" era. Can't they focus the problem now in the "post-ban" era?

Steroids made the game. Period.
If by "made", you mean "ruined", then I wholeheartedly agree. These selfish roostersuckers turned my beloved game into a beer league softball (mmmm, beer). Maris and Aaron are still in their rightful spots as far as I'm concerned.

From Mr. Manny:
"Me and David, we're like two mountains," Ramirez said. "We're going to keep doing good no matter what ... Only God is going to be able to move those two mountains."

Pride goeth before a fall, dumbass. Guy's a disgrace to the Dodgers.
