At less than $5.00 a stick. They're pretty rich. Gonna finally try an Opus X on New Years Eve and probably end the night with a Padron Anniversario. A buddy gave me a Padron Serie 1926 sampler for X-mas (I was lost for words). I'm saving them for a special occasion, but how do they compare to an Anniversario (1964 Series)???

yes the golds and the silvers are both very nice smokes. Jolly and i had talked about a split of these awhile back.

Great question. The funny thing is I've found quite a few of the BIG Padron fans (like RicMac25) actually prefer the '64's over the '26's even though the '26's are alledgely a "better" cigar and the 26's are usually harder to get.

I have one of those samplers but I have yet to break it open. I've smoked a few 64's and found them to be nice cigars, expensive but nice :)

Again, I think you'll find that more people prefer the '64's over the '26's.

I agree with Bill and the other Padron whore besides me RicMac. The 64's are better than the 26's although it's the same tobacco, just aged longer. Both are still great though! :p

Your right when you said the Torano Exodus 1959 are a great smoke. I smoked a 1959 Torp New Years Eve after dinner that was great. I wasn't gonna buy another box of ceegars until I get down to the Miami Herf next month which hopefully will be a box of WOAMs but I just might have to shop around for a box of them babies (Exodus 1959 Torps)..... :D  :p

These Torano Exodus 1959 Gold label are one of my favorites! I think Lucasbuck might have a shop with a great deal on these. Box split?

If the Padron 1964's are a killer cup of coffee, then the 1926's are a killer cup of espresso. For me, they took everything I loved about the 1964s, and made it even better. The only size I've smoked is the #9, which is very thick, but I've had Imperal and Exclusivo sized 1964's (both natural and maduro).

I'm a bit puzzled why anyone who loves the 1964's doesn't fall head over heels in love with the 1926's... to me it's just more of what made the 1964's great in one package.

I love 'em so much I enjoy just taking them out and smelling them.

(sick, isn't it? ;) )

Here is the deal....the 64's are aged for 4yrs, the 26's are aged for 5yrs. Age a 64 in your Humi for another year, and you are close to having a 26 :)
