Making Wire Shelves

I have a winedor that I want to add some shelves to. I did a search and found that many people use that white wire shelving sold at home depot. I was wondering, if the gaps between the wires are small enough, is it ok to rest the cigars in between those gaps? That way I can take the shelves in and out and don't have to worry about cigars rolling around everywhere. Thanks

they will almost fall through...i you put them perpendicular to the wires, should be ok

I always kept a box or two just for the single cigars... that way you never worried about them falling thru the gaps. And, the boxes help keep the RH steady.

For my coolerdor I used the white wire racks from Lowes/Home Depot and just cut them to fit. I lined the shelves with scrap cedar from my local B&M that they had accumulated over time. Basically it is the pieces like the dividers in the Padron Anniversay boxes. Good luck!
