What's difference between a premium brand's hand made and machine made cigars. Same line, but I was going to purchase a 5 1/2x48 but then I read somewhere it was machine made. So is it the same tobacco, better draw or construction? What are your thoughts?

i prefer the genuine hand rolled cigar to the machine rolled cigar mainly because you never know what was on the floor when they swept up the scraps left over from the premies. the draw is overall inconsistent, i've found, and the construction just doesn't cut it. think about it...would you want a great homemade pie, or a mass produced generic store baught brand pie?

wileguile that was funny :0

although some of the Danish machine made are pretty good

can't beat chicks that smoke gars, man...well some let you, if you pay them enough.

hmmmmmm......can anyone guess what my next question for gargirl is if she found that last comment funny?

like my eggs...sloppy wet and all giggly...and willing to take a beating like rodney king!

There are some machine made cigars that are very high quality. Lars Tetens makes a great cigarello called the Aircatcher. Good draw, full flavor, burn slowly. I'm not into tiny smokes, but I was pleasantly surprised.

i've had the air catcher. actually, i smoke lars tetens le proxenete on the golf course all of the time. never really smoke the little guys, but they're worth a shot for me once in a while.
