Losing Humidity

I am having a lot of problems keeping the humidity in my new cabinet humidor to stay at 65%. I have a moist n aire in there now and I find myself refilling it with 2qts of distilled water every week. I made sure the opening in the back where the cords come out of was well sealed but I think im losing humidity through the door. When I close it and turn the key it doesnt fit against the humidor very well.

Has anyone found tiny magnets or slim weather stripping to put between the doors?

Here are some pics of what im talking about.

You might see if you can move the catch for the lock deeper into the cabinet. Then the door might close tighter. Otherwise, the BORG has a variety of foam tape that might do the trick. (BORG, Big Orange Retail Giant aka Home Depot  )

I used some foam tape that I got from work and it works great! Let me now approximately what you think that your gap is and I should be able to snag you some.

On my cabinet I used some small rare earth magnets that I bought here: Magnets

Since you have a lock and key, I don't know that you would need to use the magnets because the lock should hold it tight. If you do decide to go the magnet route, I embedded the magnets so they were flush with the door and the framing, the hole in the middle made it easy to screw them in place once I had made the slot for them.

Let me now your addy and how big your cabinet is and I will try to get some of the foam tape I used out to you.

You can see how my cabinet door used the foam in this pic somewhat. Note the magnets in top and bottom corners:
