It's easy to make a gasket to take up the misfit of the door.
That's what I did on my smaller humi and it works great.
(I also did it on my aircraft's door years ago.)
Here's a short explanation on the web:

closed the door and waited until the silicone cured, about 2 days. Open the door, trim off any excess silicone, and you've got
a custom fitted gasket.>>
Use GE Silicone II Kitchen and Bath clear sealer, from Lowe's (or Home Depot), which is mold and mildew resistant.
I took out my cigars and put them in a tupperdor/coolerdor until the silicone cured.
Hopefully the manufacturer will replace the door completely, but if not, this will definitely work.
