Is there a screw on the hinge that will adjust the door in or out as well as one for left to right?

preembargo,

As seen in this shot I moved the hing in hopes of better securing the door at the warp point.

Moved from this area, were I tried several times to adjust.

Yikes, I was hoping you had different hardware. (and I'm not talking about the naked man in your house, that's totally up to you. I mean, who am I to judge? Right? :0 ) Iwas hoping the hinge was on an adjustable track.

Yes better, or more secure hard ware would be nice. I may just go out and get some myself.

Well this guy really looks better with out the TOWEL

That doesn't look good...(the guy in the towel) but how are the hinges on the other side? Does look like the door is warped. Maybe the dude in the towel is leaving the shower door open too much without turning on the exhaust fan.

Wow, Jay, that sucks. I hope those Quality Imports people take care of you, it's pretty new right?

Oh, btw, how are those other pictures coming along?

Well If you call, May some time taking care of me you have your answer. Myself I was not OK with it.

Still no word on the davidoff pics.

I've had my own fun with a warped door on a humidor. :( Get a replacement if possible, if not . . .

The odds are that you won't be able to take the warp out of the door. A common latch or some type of lock will keep the door pressed to the frame when it is closed.

Good luck with the door issue. Sometimes, now matter how hard you try there are some bullets you can't dodge. Maybe the seller will recommend something.

There are three posibilities here: The door was consructed of improperly seasoned wood.
The door was consructed of what is called reaction wood. Usually a figured wood prone to reacting in unpredictable ways.
The cabinet was subjected to extremes in Rh in a short period

There's really no cure but a new door.

Doc.

It's easy to make a gasket to take up the misfit of the door.
That's what I did on my smaller humi and it works great.
(I also did it on my aircraft's door years ago.)

Here's a short explanation on the web:

<<To make the door gasket, we taped wax-paper to the inside of the fridge, and shot silicone rubber on the door. Then we
closed the door and waited until the silicone cured, about 2 days. Open the door, trim off any excess silicone, and you've got
a custom fitted gasket.>>

Use GE Silicone II Kitchen and Bath clear sealer, from Lowe's (or Home Depot), which is mold and mildew resistant.
I took out my cigars and put them in a tupperdor/coolerdor until the silicone cured.

Hopefully the manufacturer will replace the door completely, but if not, this will definitely work.

Chemyst

Well the good folks over at Quality Importers, are going to replace the door. However It will take 30 days to get one in. I'm not sure I would rate that Great service, but It is a new door.
Mean while I will have to use a bungee cord to hold it closed. LOL

What? No duct tape?
I'm appalled!
