Be careful. There are many dangers with having a locker. The humidity goes up and down daily and you never know what is in everyone else's locker. I know of 1 place that had a guy store several boxes of beetle infested boxes in his locker. He dissappeared for quite some time. One day the staff went through the lockers trying to see how many empties they had (no real record keeping used) and they found that all of his boxes were purchased somewhere else and were all in various stages of being eaten. Several nearby lockers had been infected and customers lost their entire lot. What's worse is that the lockers had holes in the front for air circulation and were inside the store's humidor. I'm not sure if any of the retail inventory was infected and they never really said one way of the other.
That being said, my club has 168 lockers. They are divided up into 6 sections and have circulation holes in the rear of each individual locker, opening up to a 3" space that runs behind each section for humidified air to circulate. Each of the 6 sections has its own humidifier and hygrometer. But we are very careful about what goes inside them. Occasionaly I see guys putting some questionable smokes inside them and it scares the hell out of me. Luckily we have a guy who is very good at checking what comes in. If there is ever a question it's not allowed.
Bottom line is, be careful. Even though all our members are explained the risks in writing, I'm sure there will be a day in the future when I shovel out my own dough to replace damaged smokes.
