I am thinking of going. Does anyone know if that place has a lounge or something where we can all sit shoot the breeze have a drink or 2 ? Any sponsors for this one?

I'm planning on coming down with Ralph (ilcchef2) who is quite active on Cigar World and is a member here. I'm not sure how big their lounge is, I mght call them later on to find out. Dan, not all herfs have sponsors, just the lager ones...... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
That's ok about the sponsors was just a hopefull question. I would love if you can let me a bit more about the lounge when you find out. Its between this one and an upstate HERF so far :rolleyes:

Those bastards at Mom's would probably want a cut or something if we had sponsors.... I can barely stand that place. They are very "clicky"... they have there friends, and that's it. I always feel like an outsider over there. Also, their prices generally kinda suck unless they are trying to unload something (i.e. LVH: Early Years).
Anyway, I'll try and make it just to see everyone. It's a fairly small place, and it gets packed on Saturday... places to sit might be scarce. I think Sat is their poker day, so seats are usually taken up by poker players. Fortuantely, Saturdays tends to be the day when younger/newer guys come around... without that clicky chip on their shoulder. Giving them a call would be a decent idea.

That way we can hang out outside if it is too crowded on the inside!

Talked to Charlie just now...
If this Mom's thing is a bust we can all hang out at my place in Portchester which is a maximum of 20 minutes away. There's a courtyard or roof we could use.
All we would need are some cold beverages and there is a package store across the street!

It was great to meet Spikey, Michelle, Anjello and a couple of others that I forgot thier names and it was great to see Steve, Rob and thanks a lot Ralph for your great hospitality. We had a great time tellin' fishing stories and all. I'm still amazed that when you have a room full of ceegar smokers and the sign says to close, you do. Normally I've seen them lock the door and let the folks enjoying themselves stay and / or at least let them finish the cigars that they are smoking. Oh well, the next time we should start the herf a few hours earlier. Again for those that couldn't make it, I'm sure that Spikey will be posting some pictures. I'll post the link from Cigar World when he does........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Yup, I had a great time hanging out with Charlie. The CP guys who showed up really made the afternoon for me. (thanks for the smoke Rob...I'm about to go smoke it in a few) And if I could take 20 years off of my appearence, I'd be hangin' out at that wings joint EVERY Saturday!!!!!
 
It was fun seeing the boys, having some nice sticks and shooting the shit.
Charlie shared some hilarious stories of his wild-man days!
The girls at the wing place were super hot! Not sure if they were legal though... :whistling:
Let's do it again soon!
