I had to take my car in for an oil change and other stuff, yesterday. Knowing that I would have to wait, I brought along this cigar. After all the reviews I've read about how strong it is, I was almost scared to smoke it. So while they where working on my car, I took a walk and lit up.

From the very first pull it had amazing flavor. No aftertaste, perfect even burn and a grey-white ash. This was a perfect cigar for no occasion what so ever. I like that. Makes a boring experience enjoyable. As for the cigar being strong, yes it was, but knowing this helped. I just took my time and it went really well.

In final this was a ****1n excellent cigar with sweet, floral flavors on every puff and no noticable aftertaste. I'm going to get more of these for sure.

BTW. It took 2 1/2 hours to smoke. No sickness at all. Now, I have that Power Ranger waiting in my humi! :p

I really like the maduro version. I've been a little leary of these due to how strong everyone always says they are. I'm going to have to try it though, perhaps after a large meal.

Eventhough they are very strong they have incredible flavor. Everyone should try one of these things. The flavor is truly unique and enjoyable. It just might kick your ass towards the end though.

Just have a full stomach and smoke really slow. That was the key I think. Everytime I wanted a puff (because it was so good) I actually waited another minute.

Wow, maduro would be awesome.

I don't think that there is a maduro version of the Litto Gomez Diez. I have been smoking this cigar for 6 months and haven't seen a maduro. I also think that this is a great smoke. Pretty potent, though.

There isn't a maduro version of the LG Diez line... nothing regular production anyway.

The LG Diez line consists of some very nice Dominican puros... but as has been pointed out, a bit strong... I'm betting on them becoming incredible smokes once age has mellowed them out a touch.

One of my favorite cigars in a long time.
I am however looking for a Lusitania size if anyone has one to trade for something PM me...........its the only one i have not had yet...........

Litto Gomez

I have smoked a few of these and everytime I do. Wow. These are one kick ass smoke. Strong but yet not harsh and bitter tasting.

Good cigar after a meal or at a Barbeque.

I smoked one of these over the weekend--maybe it was because it was my second cigar of the day (and I hardly ever smoke more than 1 a day) but I didn't find this strong at all. ???

I really enjoyed it though! It started with a wonderful flavor right off the bat that subsided, then returned near the end. And the mouth feel of the chisel made this no ordinary smoking experience. I will be picking up more of these in the future!

I bought a box of the Chisel Maduros a while ago and was not impressed. It had no balance what so ever, it was all strength with no complexity. I am hoping aging will round out the flavors.

I think the age will help. I'm not sure but I think the one I smoked had some age on it.

Mr. Master, Sir, would that have been a La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel Maduro that you smoked ??? ?

I just smoked one of those last week, thinking it would be similar. It is know where near as good as the Litto Gomez.
