Just picked this up at the duty free in Jamaica, along with a few other everyday drinking rums including the Kingston 62, Wray & Nephew Rum Cream and White Overproof 100.

Putting rum cream in my morning coffee while on vacation is a hard habit to break at home heading into the office!

Oh man Rum Cream sounds awesome. Long time fan of Irish cream in my coffee. Been using bourbon cream in the past few years. Never seen rum cream. I’ll be on the hunt.

I did a little searching before the trip while compiling my duty free shopping list and did not find rum cream in the states anywhere, hopefully I'm wrong on that one! I tried to buy things at duty free that either weren't available in the US, or were a screaming deal like the 21 year Appleton that was $40 cheaper than at Total Wine
 
Total Wine carries Foursquare Crimsa Cream Liquor (at least in my area). There is an El Dorado one that I've seen available online.
 
If you make it to San Juan, Puerto Rico the Founder's Tour at Bacardi is fantastic. And because I took the tour I was given a 20% discount on purchases in the store. This is a very special rum that can only be purchased in one place - the company store in San Juan. The only product 30 bottles per day - and you can have the opportunity to fill your own, with the bottle being engraved for you. Highly, highly recommend taking the trip! This is some damn good hooch!

I'm working my way through the Caribbean right now. Will have to find that Appleton Estate AND the rum cream.

We did a tour at Casa Bacardi. The tour guy interestingly told us they went away from Overproof rum because it was not selling as well as in th past. They're converted a lot of the operation to barrel aging. From the samples we had I'd say they're heading in the right direction!
 
Went to my first ever bourbon raffle at my favorite local bottle shop this morning. Roughly 200 people showed up in -9f windy conditions. There was one reseller with half a dozen proxies at least who scored 5 bottles before I got mine. No hate, just jealousy 😂

I wasn’t in the top 100 but still got a Rock Hill Farms and an EHT SB on the way out (they had us go in reverse order for one more bottle of what was left)

It was something watching the thirty bottles or so of Pappy (one 20yo), 6 Birthday Bourbons, 6 Michter’s 10 year Rye etc go one by one as I watched green with envy.

That was big fun. Can’t wait for the next one.
