Liquor Acquisitions 2023, 2024

The price was right (retail-ish as the grocery store tends to charge just a wee bit more than liquor stores). My buddy in Arizona said he found the Midwinter Night's Dram at $150 (I paid $180) and the Eagle Rare was $45 (which is maybe a few dollars more than liquor store). But I most certainly will not pay what the gougers are asking for both - it's ridiculous!!! I mean - don't get me wrong - $180 seems an awful lot for a bourbon (High West USED to sell it for $60) - but like a well made cigar I really do like to savor it on special occasions (like last night enjoying it with dinner and conversation when our family got together). Well worth the price of admission!

Damn George. I was excited when I could finally find Sprechers in Oklahoma. Now you're just being mean with all the shelf finds you're posting.
