After resting in the humidor for a week it was time to try this Dom Puro. A Liceciados #4 ,5.75 x 43.
First impression was good, although it seemed to be a bit loosely packed,( in other words it was not as tight as in I was hoping for).
Flawless construction with only a few small veins and a nice Connecticut wrapper.
It was a bit light in the hand, for a Corona.
Pre-light smell was a bit disappointing as well because I could not pick up anything except straight Tobacco( it reminded me of a Jose.L.Piedra ).
After lighting up the draw was easy with no bitterness,I did detect a slight sweetness though when retro-inhaling.
The burn was perfect from light up to the nub and needed no touch up's which was a nice surprise.
Plumes of smoke was produced from each draw and filled the room with an old fashioned Cuban smell " the wife said she would smoke one and she is very picky about cigars".
The ash was very flaky and fell off too soon due to the looseness of the Rolling.
All in all it was a nice smoke and took an hour to finish , maybe some more time resting will open them up some more.
