Just had our event with Litto Gomez saturday. Great guy. Wonderful product.
So the day before we get this package with 6 boxes of the LG. I bought 2 of these to take home and sample before the event.
They come in 4 sizes : Chisel Puro,5.5x50,Americano,5.75x46,Cubano,5x50,Lusitano,6x54
LG Americano:
Beautiful wrapper very toothy for a dominican wrapper, very well constructed.
Pre lite draw easy but not too open. Instant pepper and deep oaky taste.
First draw was very peppery with a rich oak undertone. Very nice. This cigar was very strong. Just the way i like them. The pepper and woodsy flavor stayed with the cigar throughout. Very rich, thick smoke came flowing out of this cigar. The ash was a lite grey color which didnt hold for too long, about an inch or so.Burn was even and never needed fixing, again not good ash retention.
The flavor and power were just wonderful. About 2/3 of the way through i started thinking if this stays this strong im not gonna be able to finish it, but just as i got to that point the cigar kind of backed off a little, its like it just mellowed enough to allow me to smoke it to the nub. This cigar never got hot at the end, and never got the funky taste (mild amonia) that i have found come from the finish of some other lfd's. Very smooth finish, no heat build up and didnt get soft or mushy near the end. Burnt my fingers finishing it and when i was done i was completely satisfied, relaxed and a little dizzy
Id give this 9 of 10.
MSRP around 10 - 12 depending on size.
For you opus lovers out there, try this cigar you wont be disappointed.
