This cigar was gift from Atuck (thanks Alan) and I smoked it the next day. I won't go into to much detail since Moki did a perfect job describing this cigar...
Beautiful cigar to look at...perfect wrapper and very tiny veins if any. Perfect cap with a nice pig-tail. Perfect construction...
Nice cut with a cheap cutter...perfect draw. Now this point is huge because the last 4 lancero's I've smoked all had really bad draws...Cohiba Lancero, Trini Fundador and DR Trini lancero...so I was expecting as much...but was pleasently surprised with a great draw.
Pre-light taste was very spicy...
Lit up easy and was hit by a freight train of spice...not for the meak!!!
This lasted until 1.5 inches in and then mellowed to a nice pepper, dark tobacco and nutty smooth flavor...
The middle 1/2 was so smooth and flavorful...nice changes through it and lots of smoke...
The last 1/3 heated up again with spiciness but was so flavorful it wasn't overbearing...the last 2 inches was a little young like Moki said, but backed off the spice enough to bring you back down to earth after such a great roller coaster ride of a cigar.
Fantastic...rate this an "A". And with a little more age they will be very, very good. Wish they were easy to get...
