I’ve acquired a couple of what appear to be LFD Cameroon Maddie's. I’m told they were only sent to 50 stores. I’ve done a search but can’t seem to find anything on them. Anyone have any information on these?

This sounds interesting. What size are they?

I had two torpedo’s but gave one to Harpu to try. He’s going to get in touch with the La Flor rep to see if we can get some in the store. I’m holding on to the other one until I get more info.

As in maduro Cameroon wrappers?

I would have to try very hard to try 'em if that's the case. :)

If they are torps, t would have to be a size specific, as to my knowledge there is no torpedo in the Cameroon cabinet series. Please keep us updates, because I am VERY interested.

There is an oscuro LFD cabinet that is not Cameroon, and the #5 is a torpedo if i remember correctly, so maybe it is that you are talking about.

Mike, the cabinet line has two maduros in it. One is a toro and the other is a torpedo. The cabs are just like the Cameroon cab. To my knowledge there is no cameroon in those cigars. They(maduros) are limited(unlike the cameroon). They are numbered like the old Grand maduros(the vitolas correspond as well). Check your show order form, they are on there in the limited section.
On a side note, I sorry I didn't get to spend much time talking to you. I wish you had stayed at the table with us at the CAO party(I could have probably gotten you upstairs with us). I kept bumping into you but I was so busy. Next time(pm me with your cell #) we will hook up and have a drink!

Given how thin Cameroon wrapper is, I can't see how it'd survive as a maduro wrapper. Makes sense.

I can't believe you don't have a cab of each of those maduros?!?

Brad's got Rock Star status!

I have one cigar... does that count? :)

I'm actually out of room at the moment, to be honest.

In the interest of brotherhood, I hereby volunteer to hold some of your overflow. I will even include, FREE OF CHARGE, periodic sampling to ensure quality storage conditions.

I couldn't resist.

What's sad is that if that's the case (which is likely), the guy who brought them to me was misled by his 'tobacconist'. He was told they are Cammie Maddie's and that they were only sent to 50 stores. I'd think that Outlaws would have been one of the 50. Jim's hitting the links in the morning with Paul, our La Flor rep so this should be settled then.

Moki, in the event that they are a limited release I'd be happy to send it your way if you'd like to put it on Vitolas.net

Yeah Brad, I was disappointed that we didn't get to sit down and have a smoke or three together but I understand. The show may have been fun but it was work after all. One of these days we'll get together.

Apologies for the delay in updating this. These are the Cabinet Series Maduro, not Cameroon Maduro. Still an enjoyable smoke.

So does anyone have these available? I understand they're limited. The cameroons are great smokes.

I believe my BM has them, I would be willing to work out a trade, or just a sale (me pcking them up) but there is Colorado Taxes (40% on Wholesale). If you cant get them at a price with lower taxes send me a pm and we can work a deal out.

Finally picked up a couple of these at Al's place this weekend. Torpedos... smelled like a candy bar... can't wait to give 'em a try. :)

I believe Jack Schwartz has them. The Cabinet Maduro that is.
