Having only had a herf Tuesday last week, and then all weekend in Arlington, Skirts asked were we having one this week. I said why not. So on Tuesday the 6th we're back at the Cock & Bull at 6330 Gaston Avenue. We'll start around 5pm. See yall there.

One of these days I am going to make it to one of these HERF's at the Cock & Bull. I don't know if I can pull this one off, but I am going to try!

They do tasting every month. This is off 75 and Mockingbird. Last month it was Macallan. All you have to do is send and email for a "reservation". Its $25 per person, but you get I think 6 different scotchs with appetizers. It usually goes from 7:30 to 9:30-10 then we smoke a stogie afterwards.

That is going on my to do list. So scotch is the first Tuesday of every month? I'll be there next month.

Yeah I will probably be at trinity hall now...totally forgot about the tasting. Last month was Macallan in which we got to try the 18 and the 17 Fine Oak and the month before that was Highland Park and we got to sample the entire line including the 25 and the 30.

We usually do the tasting till about 9:30 or 10 and then smoke a stogie on their patio with a glass or two.

I'm torn now. Both shindigs should like fun. I am leaning towards the HEF now though because: 1) I havent been there yet; 2) I dont really like peaty scotch.

But the glenmorangie DOES sound good. Hmmm....glenmorangie or veal? Maybe I will try to make both. I came in early enough I can make it down to Dallas for a few hours then shoot back up to Lower Greenville.

Mowee...can you save me a spot?

Of course Josh. Come on down. We found a great scotch last week. They have a good selection.

I am headed down there now. Have to make a pitstop at the casa, then I will be on my way.

I had a great time last night. The lamb was absolutely amazing, so was the veal. Oh yea, and there were some pretty great company there as well.

Which company Geiico? LOL. Yeah it was lots of fun...good food, booze and smokes.
