Do you think there will be a repeat championship series between these two? Last night was a great game. If other threats don't grasp a hold, I would love to see a Laker championship over Boston :D . Revenge is sweet.

It's really hard to get a good picture of how things will play out in the NBA right now. As of right now I would say that the odds of the two meeting back up is pretty likely. From the East all you really have is two really good teams, the Celtics and the Cavs (and you might even be able to throw Orlando into that mix.) Of those two teams the Celtics have the more well rounded team and experience but on that same token the Cavs have a lot of youth and speed (and of course Lebron..) The West is a completely different story, there seems to be really one great-ish team (Lakers) with a bunch of mediocre teams that can win big games on occasion but don't have a lot of consistency (I could just be confusing the Mavs with EVERY team in the West  ) Though this might be contradicting a few of the points I just made (about there being 2 great teams in the East, and 1 in the West) I would have to say the only "guarantee" is that the Celtics will be in it. I'm also going to jump out on a limb and say that the Hornets are going to represent the West and actually be able to give the Celtics a run for their money but the Celtics will win in 6. My records for predicting things halfway through the season have never been all that great so I'll be interested to see how this season plays out!

Indeed, the NBA is sparking my interest right now. Being from LA, I have to hope the Lakers make it back. They have beat the Celtics twice (of course the last win in Boston was very lucky) and beat the Cavs twice. If I am not mistaken, they won't have to play the Celtics again until post season (with home advantage). As you said though... There are teams that can win big at odd times... So it's tough to forecast. As you said the second half of the season will be very interesting :)

I love it...This is just like old times with Bird and Magic......The only better rivalry in sport is the Sox and Yankee's....IMHO...

I would really rather see the Cavs and the Lakers go at it in the Finals this year. The game yesterday was pretty intense.

As long as Bynum is hurt the Lakers have no shot at beating the Celtics. Gasol is as soft as butter on a 90 degree day and so is Odom. As long as Garnett is healthy the Celtics will clamp down the "D" on the Lakers in the finals. With all this being said The Cavs have a real shot at making the finals. I am hearing more and more that Camby will be a Cav soon. You can never count out Duncan and the Spurs in the west. Should be a great playoff season.
