It was a wonderful night to sit on the patio with the lovely wife unit and have something special. So I grabed the LaAurora and the wife grabed a Montecristco Discovery. 2 glasses of wine and we were on our way.

Pre-light snip and initial draw was perfect. The perfecto lit right up, and started off with hints of cedar and leather. Easy draw, a ton of thick smoke, and a great burn all added to the enjoyment of this cigar. I actually noticed myself wanting to rush my way through it to see how it was going to develop! Ended up with a hint of cocoa, and a whole bunch of leather. This was never overpowering, or harsh. Just a solid smoke. Definitely will get a box of these, after I buy my wife's requested box of Discoveries.

These are one of my favorites. In fact the whole LA Aurora line is pretty good I especially like the petite Beli's never had a bad one and they are readily available.

I have smoked only one. Usually I like to have two, just to confirm the opinion on the first. Unfortunately my opinion was not as positive as yours. I thought the flavor was less than adequate for a fairly expensive cigar. I gave away the second one. Perhaps in retrospect, I should have smoked it as well since the first one might have been a clunker and a one-off problem.

Definitely a great ceegar and I keep a few of em' in the humi(s) at all times. I enjoy the Platinum probably the most of all..... :thumbs:

Bought a treasure box of 5 tubos (2 red-2 silver-1 gold tubo) for a great price on cbid. Never had them and they just came in today.

These are good smokes! Smoke them young though as aging doesn't seem to do much for them at all. I have smoked about 10 of them. I find that after 1 month off the truck they smoke great. The one I smoke with a year on it was flat.
