I got in the La Verite this morning. Robustos are $160 for a 10 count box and Churchills are $200 for a 10 count box. 10% OFF on 25 count boxes in both sizes. Please PM or call me with your orders. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks!

WTF are they Isy?...and why so expensive?

These were rolled over a year ago and put away for aging. Search is YOUR fiend, Gary. BUt I can tell you the MSRP is $20 and $25, not $16 and $20.
Search my ass...what's the big secret? You're a freakin' cigar merchant...teach me!

Where has that 'personal touch' disappeared to? You move to Florida and you turn into Doc

I was able to try one of these pre-release a little over a year ago at an event that Pete attended (yeahthatsme had one also). It was an excellent stick then, and I would be curious to try one now that they’ve aged for a year. Pete called this his “Padron killer”, but I’m not sure I would go that far. I’m not 100% sure it’s worth $20-$25 per stick, but I wouldn’t mind trying another 1 or 2, just to see if it is as good as I remember it.

I think that for anyone to call anything a Padron killer is quite a bit of a stretch.

x3. I am a huge fan of Tatuaje but come on. Padron are in a league of their own. Nice try Pete.

I'm smoking the robusto right now. This cigar has much aging potential left, as the tobacco still tastes just a bit young. But I'm 2 inches into the stick as I type this, and the flavor and body is starting to really pick up...completely different profile than when I lit it up. I'm really starting to enjoy this stick. I'll get back to y'all with my conclusions.

The thing I most remember about the one I smoked was a really nice sweetness to it. It very much reminded me of an Epernay in that regard.

I know what you mean...started picking that up halfway through the cigar. Finish is very different.

I have been dying to try these and hope to not only see you at the show Isy but try one of these bastids.

The few I have had weren't worth the money IMHO. Started smooth, 1/2 inch in starting getting really hot, by an inch in it was too hot to smoke and I am not a fast smoker at all. Probably 1 pull a minute but when it started getting hot it was about 1 pull every 2 minutes.

Just got mine in the mail. Very impressive box, anyway. Haven't tried one yet - will let them "rest" and try one soon.

Let em rest, John...I think you'll get MUCH more out of them by letting them rest for a decent amount of time, no matter how tempted you are to trying it soon.

Wish I could, Matthew. I recently decided that I won't be attending...too much going on.

Smoke the robusto last night. The flavor was outstanding! I can't compare it to anything else I've smoked, other than some well aged CC's.
