Smoked my first just minutes ago. I don't do cigar reviews, because I don't taste food in my cigars. Neither do Cubans, by the way. But, this is one of the best free world petite coronas I have ever smoked. Very satisfying for such a small cigar that lasted about 45 min. I'll be purchasing a box directly.

Doc.

Here's a review on the No. 2.

linky

The No. 2 is a torpedo size. It was good. I didn't enjoy the smaller size as much, but the rest of the MN crew is with ya. They loved it.

My sentiments exactly! This is one of the most flavorful PCs I have ever smoked. I need a box as well and would love to see how they taste after a year of aging.

I agree Doc!

Actually one of my go to petite corona's of late.

Had my first after reading Doc's "review" :D . Absolutely stunning. Straight up delicious tobacco. The one I smoked was the No. 4, which is the Robusto vitola. Will be buying a box of one of the vitolas very soon, I think I will make my decision after smoking the No. 2 I have in the humi.

I've got to stop clicking on these posts...another $165 shot...add the fact that I'm on this PC kick....and I just smoked a La Riqueza #1 gifted to me by Steve "The Green Monkey" and loved it.......F!

I'm on one of these rolls that when the UPS, Fedex, or Mailman come with a package...I don't know what it is, I have too much coming and have totally lost track.

This morning I see Joe the Mailman pull up and get ready to get out of his truck with a bright yellow padded envelope. I nonchalantly 'quick walk' down the driveway as my wife is watering flowers on the other side. I meet Joe before he gets out and grab the mail from him, do a visual body block on the Mrs. while small talking about the upcoming NFL season, saying to myself "thank God we got a few magazines so I can camo the yellow envelope with them", I say goodbye and start towards the open garage...like it's the finish line in 'Chariots of Fire'. She turns to me and says, "what's that?"....and I look right at her with a raised eyebrow and say..."I have no idea honey, I'll check it out when I get inside...don't forget the flowers around the big tree." The envelope was disposed of in the garage can...bubble wrap outside in the deck can...and cigars in the humi.

This is no way to live

Thanks again for the recommendation gentlemen, I just wish you were wrong once in a while.

Nice story Gary. Sounds like you and I could compare stories.

I completely agree with you Doc. I got a sampler of these from Mark@Tower. I had the #4 and thought it was pretty damn good. This #5 I'm smoking right now is really knocking my socks off. I know some might disagree, but I can totally taste Padron on the finish every so often.

Oh thank God I'm not alone.

"Geez honey, I don't know how the three boxes I told you I was buying turned into 8 boxes in a new coolidor. You look thinner though, have you lost weight?"

I smoked one last week and for the first inch or so, I was thinking that it was nothing special. Then, the flavor really kicked in and I ended up burning my fingers on it. A very good smoke that I'm glad to have had gifted to me by Half Full Monty. Jim mentioned that it had a similar taste profile to the Tat Black, and he was right!

I bought a bunch of these and burned through them all. Just burnt one that was gifted and now I'm burning through the lancero size. These are really fantastic smokes.

I like the No. 3 over the rest, but the PC was great as well

I agree - the No. 3 is my favorite of all the sizes but the No. 5 is right behind it. I've been on a Corona (normal, gorda, and petit) sized kick lately.

having my first #5 in the morning, and it is unreal. Flavors of toast on my pallet seem to dominate the last 1/2...absolutely delicious. I might have to light up another, due to my stunned disbelief!
