I promised Gael I'd review this cigar so here it is.
Construction: Cigar measures 42 ring x 6in long. Torp shape if it is a bit small ring. Flawless, hard to even find the seams in the wrapper. Very smooth, no veins, dark brown color. Densely pack yet draws like a dream.
This cigar burn razor sharp, never need a touch up. Nice mouthfuls of smoke with each puff. Full body, this cigar is one of the strongest I have smoked, not for those of you that like mild/ medium smokes.
The flavor was the only draw back. I found it a bit one dimensional. Very leathery, with maybe a hint of chocolate. The chocolate taste was fleeting. This is probably due to the cigar being very young. They are rolled to order and I only gave it a week in the coolerdor to rest. I feel much more flavor will come out as these age.
Over all I'd give it a 88, with some nap time I feel this will be a 90+ cigar.
Gael's wife rolls these to order. You have to call or email Gael to order them right now. When the La Luna web site gets going I belive these will be a regular item. I'm going to order a second box to keep for a long nap.
