Had one of the best constructed cigars I've ever had today. It was a corona size. Firm feel but excellent draw as I've come to expect from La Lunas. Don't know how they get so firm yet have a good draw.

It had that La Luna taste that I don't know how to describe. I'll have to agree with Gator and Moki on this one, it had a little bit of that Cuban tanginess to it. Had an ash close to 2 inches which I didn't think was possible on a corona. Would have been longer but a strong gust of wind knocked it down. Nubbed the hell out of it. It left a pleasant tobacco after taste that I'm not running to the bathroom to wash out.

Gonna have to go down to Calle Ocho and pick up a few more. The last couple La Lunas I've had have been amazing. I may be requesting Lunatic status soon, LOL.

Highly recommend.

Hell man, pick me up a box -- I'll reimburse you.
I talked to Gael, and you can get the V2's special ordered. His lovely wife will roll it just for you. Now those cigars kick ass! The LHB's are decent, and I really like the African Fuerte. Ric, tell em about those V2's!

A wife that rolls? I'm all over that! :D I've never had the V2's I don't think, but the other La Luna I had was great... how do I get a box of the V2s?

Aaahh, us poor souls that live so close to a great place like La Luna

Email Gael and ask for them. He quoted a very fair price. I believe these are pre-release. So no boxes yet. But for those cigar snobs that are into collecting cigars, you might want to get these. Once Gael ramps up production, I am sure these will be a sought after cigar.

Have had the Fuerte Maduro and the LHB in the past and was well pleased with both construction and flavor. I suspect that Gael has done nothing but a suprb job on the V2 as well

Highly recommend the LaLuna line to smokers of all types :p

I'm heading over to Calle Ocho tomorrow to pick up some other sticks. I might stop by La Luna and say hi to Gael (after all he's less than a mile from my place).

I have yet to have a La Luna I didn't like. They are definitely a unique stick with a flavor I can only describe as having a Cuban like taste. I would describe most of the sticks I've had as medium/full and as Ric said all are firm with a great draw. I'm going to have to say the Full Moon is the strongest of the La Lunas I've had and it was a great stick.

I highly reccomend trying all of their sticks to all of you guys.

I don't think you ever had the V2. If I recall correctly that one was even stronger. It's definitely stronger than the LHB, then again, maybe that's why I like the LHB, LOL.

I would describe the LHB as Medium and the V2 is definitely full. I don't know if it was the fact that there were a couple of us smoking and it was a little smoky, but that V2 kicked my ass. Same thing though, amazing construction. Firm, yet good draw. Incredible ash. Distinct flavor. Damn, guess I'm going with gator to La Luna tomorrow.

I tried the V2 at the last La Luna herf, Gael was kind enough to offer me one.
This is one great full-bodied cigar with a beautifully thick smoke and great taste.
Gael has a great cigar in that little shop of his.
Thanks brother.
