La Gloria Reserva Figurado Felicia

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: 4 year Nic
Filler: Dom and Nic

This will be a short review. This is my numero uno go to cigar right now. I can’t get enough of these. The flavor isn’t complex, it’s a creamy natural tobacco flavor. Very smooth. I would put the strength around medium-mild/medium.

I’m guessing many of you here have tried this cigar. I would be interested to hear what others think.

If only these were slightly cheaper. I can get them at Famous for about $6 after shipping. I should just get a box (if only I had room to store them). Alas, thanks to Boon and Ron, I don’t.

Take care all,

ts

Tried them last summer but didn't have any luck. One was tight, and the other was slight on flavor. Vendor's often have them on sale so, keep and eye out.

I like this little guy. I tend to like the natural a bit more than the maduro though, which is rare for me. I almost always prefer the maddie over natural of any vitola.

$6 a piece isn't bad, but I find it hard to beat CI's price on these. Clicky

I've got a box of these in maduro and love them. They can be found for much cheaper than 6 a pop. As far as the space, maybe a coolidor might be in the horizon?

I've got a box that I keep around for when I'm in the mood for something milder. They're a nice vitola, pretty tasty and burn well, but for some reason, to me they smell nasty. I usually have one after a stronger smoke like a Padilla Miami, Antano, etc, and intermingled with those, the smell is almost like cigarette smoke. Might just be me, but it keeps me from smoking them more often.

I love these Cigars
Good smoke for the money IMHO
And this is from a man who can go to his local B&M and buy a Cuban Corona for close to the same price! :D

I also like the Natural more but thought they were all too mild for me.

ROLMFAO
Mate, I have been smoking Cubans for over 20 years, These LGCR and most other non Cubans I have tried are rocking my world at the moment. I am still to try any Opus yet.... Maybe next month

I have one of these in Maduro resting in my humidor, along with the other 4 vitolas in the Reserva Figurado line. I plan to do a "vertical tasting" in the spring, starting from smallest to largest, so this will be my first smoke. Keep an eye out for the reviews!

Yes indeed.

Got a box in the cooler just 4 feet from me right now.

Mine were closer to $3.70 per by the box from JR's.

They're right up there with the Padron 2K maddies for sure thing sticks on a pocket change budget.

I actually like them way more than the AF short story. I just havent had any luck with the ones Ive had.

I love these in maduro... never had a natural.

I bought a box off of C-Bid last year for around $60, which was a steal, IMO -- $3.00 per.

The best 30 minute smoke and I always nub them. I blame rob300c for turning me on to these.

One of my locals sells them for $6.90

I'm getting robbed. Which is what they do to us in MN. I'll keep an eye on C-Bid.

I need to get a box of Gurkha Master Select Churchills as well. GD good!

I was in the mood for a smoke tonight, but it's getting late, so I wanted a shorter one. Found two of these (natties) buried in my desktop, the last sticks from a "short cigar" sampler I bought sometime last fall. Sparked it up, and so far it's pretty durn good. I like LGC naturals, and this is a lot like them, but spicier. It seems about medium so far, but with a fairly assertive peppery flavor. And I don't think the smoke stinks at all. There is a ton of it, though. My B&M doesn't sell these (that I have ever seen anyway), and I don't think I'd want a whole box, but they'd be a good little cigar at the $4 point or thereabouts. Much higher, and there are others I'd buy first.

I've really been digging the little figurados lately and have fallen in love with the Punch Champion. How does this LGC compare to that or are they seperate animals? It looks like Famous only sells 5pks but are around $5/stick. I might have to save my pennies and try these.

I bought a box of these a few years back, and have yet to try one............I'll let you know.

I've only had one of each, and they were months apart, but from what I remember of the Champion it is nothing like the Felicia. I was not much of a fan of the Champion, finding it fairly mild, flat and even boring. Maybe I had a bad one, I don't know, but that's how I've felt about almost every natural wrapper Honduran cigar I've smoked, so maybe they're just not my cup of tea. I don't find much spice or pepper in Hondurans, they seem to have more low key flavors that are harder for me to pick out.

Great Cigar. I enjoy the maduros alot. I think i got a box for slightly over 3 bucks a pop

This is one of my favorite cigars, absolutely wonderful smoke!
