At the Cigar rights of America event in Villa Park, Illinois i spoke with Ernesto Carillo and he gifted me one of the small torpedos. I've had it in my go to humidor until last night. This baby is well filled with no soft spots and dressed with a choclate colored wrapper which i have to say is beautiful. After the initial light up, there was a minor burn problem, but it corrected itself real fast. The ash was white and it hung on for about two inches. The taste was incredible, sweet and choclate with a nutty smell, i'm not a super taster and don't claim to be one but this cigar has to be tasted.
After being blown away by this cigar, i went to the web and searched for it to see who sells it. What a bummer, a quarter of a million cigars were made of this rendition and a fiver was almost $60 at CI. Too bad, at a more reasonable price i would have bit, i'm starting to hate artesans.
