Tonight I put flame to a wonderful smoke that was gifted to me @ the PacNW HERF... By none other than stevehawk!!!

Paired this smoke up with a couple fingers of Glenfiddich 12... Mmmmmm!
This ciagar has amazing construction, and is real "eye candy" to look at!!!

This baby had one of the main flavor profiles I look for in a smoke... KICK!!!
I was finally able to pick out a distinct flavor, and it was a hint of espresso. Hey, that's pretty good for this NEWB!!!

It burned very nice throughout with a great ash!!!

So,
To sum up this sorry excuse for a "review"... This cigar ranks up there as one of my top five overall!!!

Steve, thanks for being such a generous BOTL, and giving me the chance to try this great little smoke!!!

Take care,
David

Nice pics with this one. I had one of Regalias maddies earlier today, and I must say I enjoy the Felicias a little better. A good short and to the point smoke.

As I side note, when Ernesto was at Outlaw we asked him how he named the sticks, and found out that the Felicia is named after his mother.

One of those smokes that get better as you smoke it. I always nub them.

Thanks for that... Cool info bro!!!

Great morning smoke. I put right behind the short story.

I'm a bigger fan of the maddie than the nattie.

Nice short review and good pictures, David.

Was that a natural? If so, it's much darker than the three boxes that have passed through my hands.

Again, nice writeup of one of my favorite smalle sticks. Brick, I prefer the natural over the Short Stories.

Nice review and great pics, David! I really like the way you take close ups of the bands -- looks like that could be your "signature move" with your reviews. First the Anejo band of Swissy's and now this one. Both are excellent shots!

Glad you enjoyed the cigar. It's one of my favorites.

Wilkey/Wyatt - I like this cigar much better than the Short Story, especially in the maduro, which this one was.

OpusKXC - I also enjoy the Felicias more than the Regalias.

Very Nice review and pictures. Looks like I might have to give this one a try.

One of my favorites also. I always pick a couple up when I see them.

I just ordered a box of these off Cigar Int'l last Wednesday, should be here Monday.

They're only $73 for a box (vs a $110 MSRP).

With you on all three points. 1. Love those band shots 2. A definite staple in my smoking lineup. 3. I love the flavor and complexity this cigar offers much better than the straight forward short story(never the less a terrific cigar)

Had one of the maddies this afternoon and it was as good as ever. Interestingly I am working through a box over the past year or so and the last third of the cigar has come along the best with time. This time I burned my fingers worse than usual making sure I got all the delicious smoke this had to offer.

Nice smoke, I bought a bunch of these in natural and maduro last year and have smoked my way through most of them. Actually, I think I gifted more than I smoked, but definitely one to keep on hand at all times.
