Arnold’s Tobacco is honored to introduce a very special new cigar from La Flor Dominicana. Litto & Inez Gomez collaborated with the Cuban-born artist/design team of Ruben & Isobel Toledo and dreamed up the new “El Museo” cigar by La Flor Dominicana. Ruben Toledo is a popular Latin artist and illustrator. His wife, Isobel Toledo, is a fashion designer who most recently designed Michelle Obama’s outfit for the Presidential Inauguration. These special cigars were made to benefit El Museo del Barrio, the Latin art museum in Harlem, New York. A significant portion of the proceeds will go directly to El Museo del Barrio.
El Museo are rare, one-time-only cigars. Only 2,000 boxes were produced. Ruben Toledo designed the exquisite bands for the cigars as well as the artwork for the stunning boxes. The boxes alone are collector’s items; each is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ruben Toledo.
El Museo will only be sold at a handful of tobacconists across the country. Litto used a unique blend of Dominican filler/binder from his farm in La Canela. The wrapper is a silky Habano, grown in the Dominican Republic. El Museo cigars offer superb complexity with a hint of sweetness. The construction is flawless on these pristine cigars. They measure 6 ¾ x 52 and come in boxes of 20. Single cigars are $30 with the box going for $600. This is a great way to get some excellent, rare cigars and also benefit El Museo del Barrio.
