I bought a box of these cigars a little while ago. They come in boxes of 20 and I just smoked number 17 a minute ago. The dimensions are 44 x 6, which I find to be a very agreeable size. These haven't been terrible consistent but they have all been good. If I was to score each individually the scores would range from about 87 to 95 but on average a solid 91. These cigars are very affordable and one of the greatest values out there in my opinion. The same goes for most of the other LFD's I've had. Some have had dark brown oily wrappers and a couple have been a bit grayish and dry. This is probably because they are tubos and they don't try to match the colors for each box.

I find them to be very complex cigars, not because the cigar is changing all the time but because each puff has a multitude of flavors. In fact these have the longest finish of any cigar I have smoked in recent memory. That is not always a good thing, if the cigar tastes bad the last thing you want is for that taste to linger on your pallet, but that is not the case with these. They have notes of spice, cocoa, wood, cream, coffee and chocolate (spice and cocoa usually dominating). With most cigars I try to review I try to give an idea of what they taste like but never can quite hit the mark, but with this cigar it's taste is pretty much exactly like the flavors mentioned. i can't imagine someone arguing the flavors of this cigar, they seem so distinct and obvious. Some of the cigars are a bit too spicy for my tastes. One of them tasted like nothing but spice for the first half of the cigar. I preferred the sweeter ones to the spicier ones. There was one dud in the box that had almost no flavor but a weird buttery one, like I said this box wasn't all that consistent. The burn however, was always straight and perfect. I'm glad I waited till I smoked several of these to post my review or it would have been a bit misleading.

To sum up, these are really excellent cigars. Because they are a bit on the cheap side they have been my every day smoke but taste more like my expensive weekend cigars. I have been looking for a good cheap everyday cigar ever since I started smoking cigars and I think I have found it. I have a box of Ligero Oscuro 300's on the way, which I have not tried yet, to smoke as my new everyday cigar and I will let you guys know what I think of them, but I definitely think I'll be buying more of these.

Smoked my fair share of LFD cigars. Just a couple... :whistling:

I havent had a bad one yet and Litto is da man. Very friendly, open, and honest. Worth visiting with if you ever get the chance to shoot the bs with him. LFD puts cigars in their own class but my favorite is the Double Ligero line. Any cigar will do. I hope the next box is more consistant for you.
