Well please forgive me for the review quality as I'm still trying to improve my writing skills. Also the picture quality isn't the best as I took the pics on my balcony.

Well let me start by saying when I started smoking I smoked Camaroons almost exlusivly, CAO Camroons, any standard Arturo Fuente, Don Carlos, Hemingway, Cuesta Rey, etc and as my palate started getting more refined I found myself preferring stronger smokes, as well as Cubans and Maduros, well when I visited my smoke shop I was told the LFD 2000 was an excellent Cami, now I've smoked a some of their stronger cigars and was always very impressed, in fact I can't recall smoking a bad LFD.

The cigar looks good with an awesome smell, the Camaroon wrapper seems less fragile than I remember on other smokes. Well off we go, the light was easy with that great spicy flavor, no waiting on this smoke, flavor right off the bat.

As I smoke the cigar down I don't note a whole lot of consistency, just an awesome toasty flavor that pairs well with my Monteristo Cameroon coffee. The ash holds okay but is a bit flaky. I knock the ash off to avoid dropping it in my lap.

As I got further down the cigar it burns a bit crooked but this doesn't affect the taste, as well there's no unravelling that I sometimes get w/ this wrapper. Taking off the band doesn't involve the wrapper coming off with it as sometimes happens. Taking this cigar to the nub rewards me with a bit more strength but it never gets harsh. The burns also straightens itself out well with no correction. The draw was well throughout with a bit more smoke produced towards the end. Down to the the end the cigar never gets hot..

After being disapointed by many of the Arturo Fuente cigars lately, I'm not sure if the quality has gone down or if some of the new cigars on the market are just that much better. This cigar has reignited my love affair with the cameroon wrapper and made me a lover of this brand !! An awesome mild to medium smoke !!

Nice review man! I never even knew that the 2000 was a cameroon.

Try a Camacho Select, you may change your opinion on best cammie's.

Great review,I like these alot myself.
Thanks

I want to try the Camacho Select but local-yocal doesn't carry them. For now, the LFD 2000 toro is the best cameroon I've had. Cant get one to burn straight, but a touch up here and there is worth it on these.

I have yet to try one of these, but I love Cameroon wrapped cigars. Also, check out the Ashton Puro Sol line, they are a mild to medium Cammie. A bt pricey, but more refined and complex than any other Cameroon wrapped cigar I've had. The Corona Gorda is especially tasty.

Thank you for the great review! I love all Litto Gomez blends and am glad I still many to try including this one. Try the LDF Maduro Especial #1 next. It's sweet and well balanced and one of my favorite LDFs. The chisel is another one.

I just went out and bought the LDF Series 2000 #2 and I agree that this is one of the better cammies. Complex, full flavor - the brazilian filler adds a little spiciness not present in most cammies. I like. Not a bad value, either at around $75 to $85 a box of 24. The wrapper is as good as any I've tried, too. On the negative side, the construction is sub-par but not too bad. Thanks for sharing your experience! :D
