Well, I tried my first Acid cigar yesterday, a Kuba Kuba. I've been told you either love these cigars or hate them. You can put me firmly in the hate category. The pre light aroma was like strong incense, didn't smell like something you should smoke. Can't complain about the construction. I like the funky bands...

When I put it in my mouth it tasted sickiningly sweet. I almost couldn't get past this to even light it, but I forced myself. I took maybe five puffs before I had to put it out. I got no real flavor out of it, all I could taste was the disgusting sweetness of the wrapper.

Next time I'll roll up a sheet of fabric softner and smoke that and save six bucks.

The Dirt's are good. I kinda like the Natural line. Other than those, the only time I smoke Acids are when I am clubbing. I don't really care for them, but the ladies don't seem to mind the aroma as much.

I liked the Kubas, but got a bad one last week. I like the flavor and the sweetness reminds me of Swisher Sweets from when I first started smoking. The one I had though felt like it had a knot somewhere in the middle of it. Couldn't draw on it for crap.

I have tried Spice from the Naturals line. Think I my pick a box of them up for vacation.

I wouldn't let one Acid stop you from trying others. They are not all teh same (actually they are all different and sorte into categories - Acid Blue, which includes the Kuba Kuba, are one line with sugar on the wrapper, but not all are like that. If I remember correctly the Acid Blues and Gold have the sugar, the Red and Purple do not. My favs so far are Nefasto and Extra Ordinary Larry (both Maduro - if you like maddies).

Also, I don't think any of the Natural line are sweetened, and many of these are good as well (Blackout and High Monk off the top of my head)

I have tried Spice from the Naturals line

I thought Spice was in the Ambrosia Line

I have smoked several of the Acid cigars. I prefer and have purchased a whole box of the Natural Root cigars. They have a nice burn, and there is a very pleasant note of cocoa, kind of reminds me of the steam from a hot bowl of Cocoa Wheats, which I at least find to be enjoyable. (No wonder Im such a portly fella!) :D
PM me if you want to try one, I will send one out to you.

Sorry you had a less than enjoyable experience for your first one. Oh well, I guess everyone has their own tastes, kind of like women. It would be awefully boring if everyone was the same.
