Just finished one, and didn't take notes, but it's a good smoke, not great. Maybe a 'poor man's Opus' is a good description? Any one else have any thoughts on this cigar?

King B is a love it or leave it cigar. I don't love it. I DO love the Cuban Beli Sungrown, though.

I'm in the minority with you on liking this cigar. When the King B is on, it is fantastic. The problem is I have yet to have one stay on for the entire cigar and most I have had to put down too early.

I personally like the King B. But what the hell do I know, I like Pepins too :whistling:

I've got a couple OR boxes in the humi down at the club. I have one every now and then. While I'm still getting some burn problems, I love the flavor of the cigar. I'm looking forward to smoking them all eventually.

I had a few of them, and i wasn't impressed. I a young one and one with some age, and as stated above, love or hate. I don't like it at all. I agree with Steve though, the Sungrown Beli's are a nice smoke.

*Bump*

Had one of these last night (which I'd ordered two weeks ago so it was fresh) and it had a good burn, excellent flavors, no sticky spots on the wrappers from the cedar.

I had read quite a bit about 'em, and being a certified Fuente Nutbar, I picked up 7 of 'em first time I saw 'em in the B&M I frequent in Detroit.

Smoked one, wasn't a real pleasant experience. Smoked another a week later, and while better, I didn't understand the hype. I gave a couple away in bombs and the other 3 are resting peacefully at the bottom of the big humi 'till next summer when I'll revisit 'em.

I have had several now and I am in the "love em" club. All have been very good or great. I think maybe not in the "poor man's opus" line but more "poor man's VSG" line, but at $5 price point nothing to complain about. Very nice cigar.

Smoked another today, even though there was a slight burn issue, still good

The first one I smoked rocked my socks, the second one I threw away 2 inches in and the third I smoked to a nub but it was nowhere as good as the first.

They need to get a better hold on the quality control regarding the blend and these will be a favorite with a lot of people.

How in the hell are you getting these for $5? I think the OR were the best (as usual). But they are getting better as time goes on and they have rested long enough...I like them!
